PERSONAL DATA

Elkhan Huseynov was born on  January 1st , 1948 in Ganja. In 1966, he graduated from secondary school #18 in Ganja, and in 1973 Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty at Azerbaijan State University (present Baku State University). In 1985 he got a Candidate’s degree of Philosophy, and in 1994 he became an Assistant Professor.

In 2002 by the decree of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic he has been conferred a rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.

In 2000 by the decree of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic he has been awarded with a medal of “Tereggi” (“Progress”).

Married. Has two sons and three grandchildren.

Fluent in Azeri and Russian.
