a) a four member team of X form –Rajab Rajabov, Rena Shikhiyeva, Nazifah Gasimova, and Rashid Najafov gained the first place among 35 teams on speed nomination on the intellectual contest held in early May in Modern Education Complex named after H.Aliyev on the occasion of H.Aliyevs 85 anniversary.
b) the above mentioned team gained a third place in the same contest. g) Rajab Rajabov a pupil of X form won a third place in the Republican Olimpiad on Mathematics. c) Agil Pirverdiyev, a VII form pupil was a winner of international chess tournament organized in Baku in November 2008 year.
d) Vusal Mammadov a VII form pupil won the first place in Intellectual marathon -2009 competition held in February 2009 in “General education Centre-XXI Century”.
e) Parizad Quliyeva a V form student and member of Azerbaijan team witch won a fourth place between 11 countries in XVIII International Sport Acrobatics competition held in 25-28 February. 2009 year, Vinnitsa, the Ukraine. And she won a first place in was champion of Respublic Championship on Acrobatics on March. 2009 year.
f) On the occasion of Novruz holiday a IX form student Orkhan Hasanly won a first place in the traditional knowledge contest organised by Baku Araz Courses.
