On October 24-25, 2024, an international scientific conference dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of Professor Gudrat Ismayilzadeh will be held under the organization of Baku State University and Institute of Archeology and Anthropology of ANAS on the topic "Cultural heritage of Karabakh and Zangezur in archaeological and ethnographic research".

The purpose of the conference is to hold discussions on the results of archaeological research and the study of intangible cultural heritage, at the international level with the participation of famous experts, young researchers and students, allowing us to restore an objective picture of Karabakh and the Zangezur region at different stages of the development of history, as well as to expand scientific cooperation between researchers.

The conference will cover the following topics:

Archaeological heritage of stone and paleometal periods of Karabakh and Zangezur,

Traces of Scythian culture in Karabakh and Zangezur,

Albanian cultural heritage in Karabakh and Zangezur,

Islamic cultural heritage in Karabakh and Zangezur,

Intangible cultural heritage of Karabakh and Zangezur,

Professor Gudrat Ismayilzadeh's contributions in researching, teaching and promoting the archaeological heritage of Azerbaijan.

Original abstracts that have not been previously published or reported elsewhere should be sent to the conference;

Program Committee of the conference will only consider abstracts collected according to the directions of the conference in accordance with the set requirements and rules of compilation.

The name of abstract must be short (not more than 12 words).

Name of abstract: with capital letters, bold, 14-point, Calibri font

Full name of the author: bold, 12-point, Calibri font

Names of the organization, city and country: Regular, italic, 12-point, Calibri font

Abstracts should be a maximum of 500 words. Paper format: A4; File format: *doc, *docx; 12-point Calibri font, 1 spaced;  Margins: top-2.7 cm, bottom-2.0 cm, left-2.0 cm, right-2.5 cm.

The number of the referenced literature is indicated in the text (for example, [2])

References are given at the end of the text (for example, M. Hasanov, A. Mamedov, Properties of CdS films. J of Nanotechnology 2021, 25 (31), p. 34-45).

Only accepted abstracts will be published.
