As part of the Intergovernmental Scholarship Program for the 2024-2025 academic year, 14 out of 47 foreign students accepted into Azerbaijani universities will study at Baku State University (BSU).

Among these students, 11 are from the People's Republic of China, while the remaining students represent Serbia, Tajikistan, and Romania. These international students will have the opportunity to pursue degrees at BSU in a variety of fields, including International Relations, Journalism, Social Work, Regional Studies, Philology, Ecology, Mathematics, and Social and Psychological Services in Education.
