On January 7th, the winter examination session for the 2023/2024 academic year began at Baku State University (BSU).

Examinations will take place in two shifts: written exams for bachelor's level from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and oral exams and master's level exams from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

More than 20,000 students will sit for exams across 937 bachelor's groups, and 2,014 students will take exams in 235 master's specialties.

\During the session, students who couldn't participate in exams due to valid or invalid reasons will have the opportunity to take the exams for those subjects between February 5th and February 14th, 2024.

An examination board and an appeals committee have been established to ensure efficient monitoring of the session's progress and transparency in evaluating students' knowledge. A hotline from the Ministry of Education will operate during the session.

The session will continue until February 5th.
