BSU and Kilis 7 Aralık University Sign Memorandum of Understanding
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation was signed between Baku State University (BSU) and Kilis 7 Aralık University of Türkiye.
The document was signed by Rector of BSU Elchin Babayev and Rector of Kilis 7 Aralık University Zekeriya Akman.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Rector Elchin Babayev highlighted BSU’s educational and research activities and its expanding international relations network. He emphasized that BSU maintains close cooperation with Turkic-speaking countries, including leading universities in brotherly Türkiye, and expressed confidence that the new partnership would promote joint research, projects, and academic events.
Rector Zekeriya Akman noted that Kilis 7 Aralık University currently has 15,000 students across 12 faculties and underlined the wide potential for collaboration with BSU, particularly in the fields of economics, social sciences, and agriculture.
The memorandum envisions the implementation of joint projects, international scientific seminars and conferences, as well as student and faculty exchange programs. It will also open new opportunities for cooperation in teaching, research, and internationalization.
