32 scientists from BSU are included in the list of 'Top 100 Scientists of Azerbaijan

The renowned organization AD Scientific Index has published rankings of scientists, countries, and scientific institutions worldwide. AD Scientific Index uses 9 parameters to compile the ranking and determines scientists' rankings across 11 themes, 256 areas, 22,350 universities (research institutes), 218 countries, and 10 regions.

As of 2024, Azerbaijan ranks 96th in the world ranking (World Ranking) and 32nd in the regional ranking (Region Ranking) according to the criteria of AD Scientific Index. It is worth noting that Azerbaijan's position was determined based on the activities of 945 researchers included in the list of the top 1000 scientists of Azerbaijan according to the AD Scientific Index.

Out of the 100 scientists from the country (3 scientists in the top five of the list) included in the 'World Top 100 Scientists in Azerbaijan' list by the AD Scientific Index rating, 5 out of 10 scientists in the 'Azerbaijan Top 10 Productivity i10 Index' list, 6 in the 'Azerbaijan Top 10 Last 5 Years i10 Index' list, 5 in the 'Azerbaijan Top 10 Last 5 Years H Index' list, 6 in the 'Azerbaijan Top 10 Total Citation Index' list, and 5 in the 'Azerbaijan Top 10 Last 5 Years Citation Index' list are employees of Baku State University (BSU).
