The opening ceremony of the 3rd Republican Law Olympiad, organized by the Faculty of Law of Baku State University (BSU) with the support of the Prosecutor General’s Office, was held at the Anti-Corruption Main Department under the Prosecutor General’s Office. The event was dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the birth of Heydar Aliyev.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Prosecutor General Nazim Rajabov highlighted the importance of such initiatives in strengthening students’ theoretical and practical legal knowledge.

Dean of the BSU Faculty of Law Zaur Aliyev noted that Heydar Aliyev laid the foundation for legal reforms in Azerbaijan and always attached special importance to legal education and the development of legal science.

Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court Chingiz Askerov emphasized the state’s support for legal education and expressed confidence that the Olympiad would contribute to the professional development of future lawyers.

Representatives of various state institutions and legal organizations also addressed the event. At the end of the ceremony, letters of gratitude were presented to the institutions involved in organizing the Olympiad.
