The contributions of 537 students from Baku State University (BSU) to the successful organization of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) were highly praised by President Ilham Aliyev. The students were awarded certificates of honor and cash prizes in recognition of their efforts.

In addition to welcoming guests at the airport and providing support at the Baku Olympic Stadium, where the event took place, the volunteers assisted staff from the COP29 Azerbaijan Operating Company and UN representatives with various tasks.

Notably, BSU administrators and faculty members were also awarded letters of gratitude from the President for their effective contributions to the organization of COP29.
