Rector of Baku State University (BSU), academician Abel Maharramov has met with Murat Tosun, professor at Sakarya University. During the meeting the sides discussed the current state of and prospects for scientific and education cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey. They also discussed cooperation between Baku State University and Sakarya University in scientific, education and innovation spheres.

Maharammov briefed Murat Tosun on the history, activity and international relations of the Baku State University. He noted that BSU had close relations with Turkey`s leading education and scientific centers.

The meeting concluded that the 8th International Eurasian Conference on MathematicalSciences and Applications (IECMSA-2019)would be devoted to the 100th anniversary of BSU.
