7th International Conference "Modern Trends in Physics" kicked off
7th International Conference MTP-2021: Modern Trends in Physics, organized by Baku State University (BSU) in collaboration with The Sapienza University of Rome, Regional Network for Education and Training in Nuclear Technology (STAR-NET), The University of Szeged, Hungary and The Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, Russian Federation kicked off on Wednesday, December 15 2021.
Before the start of the official ceremony, participants honored the blessed memory of our martyrs who heroically died in the Patriotic War with a minute of silence.
BSU Rector Elchin Babayev made a speech at the opening ceremony. Rector said that famous scientists from Azerbaijan, as well as Turkey, Russia, Italy, Hungary, USA, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, China, Georgia and Belgium would take part in the three-day conference. “The goals of the conference are to establish objectives and find innovative areas in Physics, exchange experience with international experts, encourage young researchers to pursue scientific careers, and discuss important theoretical and practical research achievements on a global scale. MTP-2021 highlights the latest research innovations and applications within the fields of Theoretical and High Energy Physics, Condensed Matter Physics, Materials Science and Engineering, Biophysics, Space Sciences and Astrophysics”, said Elchin Babayev. In conclusion, he wished the success to the participants.
