BSU hosts Open Science Workshop
Baku State University (BSU) with the support of the Ministry of Education and Azerbaijan Young Scientists, Post-Graduates and Masters Union (AYSPMU) has hosted workshop “Open Science Azerbaijan: promotion of the Open Science platform among young researchers” within the framework of the Open Science Azerbaijan project.
The main goal of the project is to inform young researchers about Open Science, Open Access, Open Research Date, Open Innovation, Open Research Computation, ResearchGate, Scientific Social Network.
Deputy Director of the Centre of Excellence for Scientific Research & Innovation of BSU Zohrab Agamaliyev made presentation about the Open Science Azerbaijan project.
Adviser to the Minister of Education Elnur Mammadov stressed the importance of the "Open Science Azerbaijan" project, established at BSU.
Ilgar Orujev, Head of the Azerbaijan Young Scientists, Post-Graduates and Masters Union (AYSPMU) said that “Open Science Azerbaijan” would create new potential for young researchers and give impetus to the development of science.
AYSPMU expert Sevinj Adilova made a presentation on the topic “Materials of open research. Indexes and databases”.
