BSU Research and Training Center for Armenian Studies has hosted a scientific seminar.  The Head of the scientific research sector of the Center Elgun Gahramanov made a presentation on the topic "The role of the church in the formation of the Armenian national identity".

Elgun Gakhramanov has scientifically proved the fact that the function of the state for Armenians is performed by the church. He also provided information about the Armenian national identity influenced by the church.
