Senior Researcher at the Microbiology and Virology Research Laboratory of the Center for Excellence in Research, Development and Innovation at Baku State University (BSU) Aygun Israilova has won the 2023 Fulbright Scholarship Program for Azerbaijan.

As part of the program, Aygun Israilova will continue her research work related to the antibacterial activity of various plant extracts against human pathogens at the Faculty of Medicine at Emory University.
