A Digital Research Laboratory has been established at the Center for Excellence in Research, Development and Innovation of Baku State University (BSU).

BDU Rector Elchin Babayev made a speech at the opening ceremony. Elchin Babayev stressed that the laboratory was established under the Erasmus + KA2 project «MAGnUS: Developing Master Programmes in Mobile Applications and Game Design at Partner Universities», which is funded by the European Union and implemented under the leadership of the Linköping University of Sweden. The laboratory is aimed at training in the field of computer science, algorithmic thinking, modern methods and technologies for constructing and analyzing effective algorithms, Elchin Babayev said when addressing the event.

Parviz Baghirov, Head of the Erasmus + National Office, Ali Nagiyev, BSU Advisor to the Rector for Strategic Development and Communications, Alekper Aliyev, Head of the Department of Information Technologies and Programming of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics, also spoke at the opening ceremony.
