Presentation of Parliamentarian’s Guide to Climate Change
ADA University hosted the launch of the Azerbaijani version of the Parliamentarian’s Guide to Climate Change.
Produced by the University of Exeter in collaboration with Peers for the Planet, this guide has been created to provide MPs, peers, and others with the very best analysis on climate change and its causes, effects, and solutions.
Key participants included BSU Rector Elchin Babayev, who emphasized Azerbaijan's commitment to climate action, highlighted by the declaration of 2024 as the "Year of Solidarity for a Green World." The guide aims to equip policymakers with critical insights on climate issues, supporting effective legislation at both national and international levels.
The event was virtually joined by the Chair of the Peers for the Planet group of the House of Lords of the UK Parliament, Baroness Helen Hayman, and the President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Exeter, Lisa Roberts.
