Lachyn Italmazova, Regional Director at Times Higher Education (THE), the UK's leading university ranking institution, based in England, carried out a workshop at Baku State University. The workshop was organized by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The event was attended by representatives of 15 universities, Head of the Department of Science, Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Ministry of Education Nijat Mammadli, Rector of BSU Elchin Babayev, Vice-rector for science and innovation Huseyn Mammadov, Director of the Center for Organization of Scientific Activity and Innovation Mais Suleymanov and other officials.

The event started with the informative presentation of Italmazova on the ranking methods and criteria of the “World University Rankings”, and then  continued interactively.

BSU Rector Elchin Babayev thanked the Ministry of Education for organizing the event and Lachin Italmazova for an interesting presentation.
