On March, 1, the rector of the Baku State University (BSU), academician Abel Maharramov received a delegation led by Deputy Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan Mir Jan Jamali. During the meeting the sides discussed economic, political and cultural relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan. Academician Abel Maharramov  expressed gratitude to Pakistan for constant support in settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and for recognition of the Khojaly tragedy as genocide at the Senate. The rector noted that Urdu was taught at the university, which had been so far learned by 56 Bachelors and 4 Masters.

Than Deputy Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan Mir Jan Jamali met with the  students of the Baku State University.
