The journal 'Acta Botanica Caucasica,' founded by Baku State University (BSU), has been indexed in the International System for Agricultural Science and Technology (AGRIS) of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and has been assigned a special identification code.

The journal is published under the editorial leadership of the Chief Editor, Professor Elshad Gurbanov, the Head of the Department of Botany and Plant Physiology at Baku State University (BSU), a corresponding member of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), and a Doctor of Biological Sciences.
