Admission of Foreign Students for the 2024/2025 Academic Year Continues at Baku State University
Baku State University (BSU) continues to accept applications from foreign students for the 2024/2025 academic year. The application deadline is August 31, 2024.
List of documents to be submitted by foreign students:
A legalized (or apostilled) educational document(s) indicating the subjects studied at the previous level(s) and the grades received in those subjects, as well as a notarized copy(ies) of its translation into Azerbaijani;
Health certificate, including proof of absence of HIV/AIDS, hepatitis B, and C viruses;
6 photos (taken within the last 6 months);
Passport (photo page), valid for at least 1 year and 6 months from the date of application to the University;
Certificate of language proficiency (if available);
Copies of awards, certificates, diplomas, and other similar documents (if available).
Notes:
Foreign citizens holding a permanent residence permit issued by the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan can be admitted to Baku State University only on the basis of examinations conducted by the State Examination Center of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Persons who hold citizenship of the Republic of Azerbaijan in addition to citizenship of a foreign country are prohibited from applying to Baku State University as foreign citizens. They can be admitted to the university based on test examinations conducted by the State Examination Center of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
A foreign citizen must submit a copy of the document confirming their residence in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan within 90 (ninety) days from the date of official admission to an educational institution of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the form of formal education.
