Agricultural Insurance Fund (AIF) held meeting at BSU
The Agricultural Insurance Fund (AIF) held a meeting with faculty and students of Baku State University (BSU).
During the event, students were informed about the importance of the agricultural insurance system, employment opportunities, and collaboration in this field.
Vice-Rector Farda Imanov explained the education system at BSU, the taught specialties, the integration of graduates into the labor market, including their involvement in the agricultural insurance system. Highlighting the impact of climate change on Azerbaijan, Farda Imanov stated that the country's agricultural development largely depends on climatic factors. Agricultural insurance is one of the effective tools to mitigate their impact.
Roman Amirdzhanov, a member of the AIF board, discussed the working principles of the mechanism and the advantages of agricultural insurance, emphasizing the role of the Fund in government support for agriculture. According to him, there are opportunities to involve BSU students in the agricultural insurance system.
The meeting also featured presentations by Akbar Mamedli, head of the AIF's expert relations department, and independent expert on agricultural insurance Isa Ibrahimli.
