Delegation headed by Paolo Giubellino, the speaker of the ALICE (A Large Ion Collider Experiment) under the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) has visited Baku State University.

Cooperation issues were discussed during the meeting  between rector, academician Abel Maharramov and ALICE delegation. Rector proposed to consider the possibility of developing cooperation between BSU and ALICE group which was established at Nuclear Research Center under Azerbaijani Ministry of Communications and High Technologies. Guests welcomed the participation of the Baku State University in the ALİCE group and thanked rector for cooperation.
