ANAS Corresponding Member Ramiz Aliguliyev Holds Master Class at BSU

ANAS Corresponding Member and Head of Department at the Institute of Information Technology, Ramiz Aliguliyev, delivered a master class at the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics of Baku State University (BSU) on “From Specialized Artificial Intelligence to Super-Artificial Intelligence: Evolution and Prospects.”

The speaker discussed the stages of artificial intelligence development, noting that current systems represent specialized AI designed to perform specific tasks such as voice recognition and medical diagnostics. He highlighted global efforts by leading technology centers, including OpenAI and DeepMind, to develop artificial general intelligence capable of human-like reasoning.

The master class also addressed the future prospects of AI, associated risks, and the importance of responsible management of emerging technologies.
