Baku State University (BSU) and Confucius Institute, within the framework of the project "Modern novels of Chinese literature", jointly organized an online lecture on the topic "Contemporary Chinese Literature" on December 27, 2021.

Lecturer at the Faculty of International Education, University of Anhui, People's Republic of China Deng Shu made presentation on the works of two prominent contemporary Chinese writers - Nobel Prize Winner Mo Yan and Hugo Prize Winner Liu Cixin.

The event was moderated by Shams Bagirova,  Senior Specialist of the International Relations Department of BSU.
