Ankara University of Social Sciences Conducts Seminar on Socio-Village System
Representatives of Ankara University of Social Sciences conducted a seminar at Baku State University (BSU) on the implementation of the socio-village system and ecosystem in universities.
Speaking at the seminar's opening, BSU Vice-Rector Alish Agamirzaev stated that there is effective cooperation between the two universities in the field of social sciences. Last year, a memorandum of understanding and the Erasmus+ K171 exchange program were signed between BSU and Ankara University of Social Sciences. Under the memorandum, it was decided to implement social research projects jointly with Ankara University of Social Sciences. A BSU delegation visited the socio-village of Ankara University of Social Sciences and familiarized themselves with their experience. Alish Agamirzaev mentioned that the purpose of the seminar is to explore the possibilities of applying the socio-village system of Ankara University of Social Sciences at BSU.
The head of the socio-village at Ankara University of Social Sciences, Erdal Akdeve, and socio-village staff member, Cetin Onder, gave a presentation on the application of the socio-village system and ecosystem in universities. The seminar emphasized the importance of building an innovative ecosystem and technoparks at BSU. Discussions were held on enhancing human resources in the field of innovation, supporting social innovation activities in education, and providing support to students in developing innovative ideas.
