Lıkas Rybar, an assistant professor at the Department of General History, Faculty of Arts, Comenius University in Bratislava has delivered  online lecture on "Diplomatic relations of the Habsburgs and Safavids in the XVI-XVII centuries"  to the Faculty members and students of Baku State University.

The event was attended by BSU Rector Elchin Babayev. He introduced the lecturer and informed the participants about the purpose of the event.

Lıkas Rybar lectures on the history of the Middle East (Especially Iran and South Caucasus). He leads special courses and historical seminars with an emphasis on mutual contacts between Middle East and European countries in the 16th-19th century.

The event was moderated by the assistant professor of the Faculty of History Azad Rzayev.
