The Faculty of Law at Baku State University (BSU) comprises 12 departments, a center, and a Legal Clinic.
The Faculty offers full-time and part-time undergraduate programs in Jurisprudence.
The Faculty comprises the following departments: Theory and History of State and Law; Constitutional Law; Criminal Law and Criminology; Criminal Procedure; Forensic Science; Labor and Environmental Law; Civil Law; Civil Procedure and Commercial Law; Human Rights and UNESCO Information Law; General International Law; Private International and European Law; and Intellectual Property Law.
The Jurisprudence program prepares highly qualified specialists for law enforcement agencies, courts and judicial institutions, tax and customs authorities, and other state and public institutions. Graduates can pursue careers in legislative, central and local government bodies, private organizations, and research and academic institutions, as well as engage in teaching and research in the field of law.
The Faculty offers education in Azerbaijani, Russian, and English.
