The Audiovisual Council of Azerbaijan organized a seminar for students of the Faculty of Journalism at Baku State University.

Opening the event, Aynur Nasirova, Head of the Department of International Journalism and Information Policy, emphasized the importance of studying audiovisual media and its regulation, as well as raising awareness among young journalists in this field.

Hashim Alimamedzade, Advisor to the Chairman of the Council, provided information about the Council’s activities and regulatory measures aimed at improving the functioning of audiovisual media.

Aykhan Sadigli, Senior Advisor at the Council’s Law and International Cooperation Department, delivered a presentation on “The Legal Status of Media Entities and Journalists in the Azerbaijani Media Space,” explaining the legal framework governing audiovisual media.

The seminar concluded with a Q&A session with students.
