The Azerbaijan Press Council (APC) Room was opened at the Faculty of Journalism of Baku State University (BSU).

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Rector Elchin Babayev noted that the Journalism Faculty plays an important role in training professional journalists, and its graduates successfully work in various media fields. He emphasized that the opening of the Press Council room is important not only for acquiring theoretical knowledge but also for consolidating the practical skills of students and involving professionals in the educational process.

Chairman of the APC Board, Rashad Mejid, remarked that the establishment of the Press Council Room at the Faculty is a commendable initiative. Regular meetings of students with members of the Press Council and well-known journalists will be organized here.
