Baku State University and Beijing University of Chemical Technology Sign Agreement
Baku State University (BSU) and Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT) have signed an agreement to implement a dual bachelor’s degree program in Chemistry.
The document was signed by BSU Rector Elchin Babayev and BUCT President Tan Tianwei. The signing ceremony was also attended by the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Azerbaijan, Lu Mei.
The dual degree program is the result of ongoing efforts aimed at enhancing the content of higher education, aligning academic quality with international standards, and strengthening the global competitiveness of universities in the international academic and research landscape.
Under the agreement, a joint academic program in Chemistry will be implemented in line with international standards, providing students with the opportunity to earn diplomas from both universities. This collaboration is expected to contribute to the training of highly qualified specialists.
