Baku State University and Türkiye’s Bingöl University Sign MoU
A memorandum of understanding has been signed between Baku State University (BSU) and Bingöl University of Türkiye.
The agreement was formalized by the rectors of the two institutions, Elchin Babayev of BSU and Erdal Çelik of Bingöl University.
During the signing ceremony, Rector Elchin Babayev emphasized the significant potential of both universities. He noted that the memorandum would open up new opportunities for students and faculty from both institutions and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of education and science in the region. He also highlighted the possibility of conducting joint scientific research in various fields such as biology, chemistry, physics, bee diseases, nanotechnology, and economics, as well as the potential establishment of a joint research laboratory.
Rector Erdal Çelik expressed that collaboration with BSU is of great importance for the scientific development of both Azerbaijan and Türkiye, as well as for the training of internationally competitive professionals.
The memorandum outlines a framework for joint projects, international scientific seminars and conferences, and student and faculty exchange programs. It also aims to foster collaboration in teaching, research, and the internationalization efforts of both universities.
