Baku State University (BSU) and Uskudar University in Türkiye jointly organized an international online conference on the topic ‘Journalism of the Modern Turkic World: Issues and Challenges’.

\Alish Agamirzayev, Vice-Rector of BSU, opened the conference with an introductory speech. He announced that negotiations between the Faculty of Journalism at BSU and the Faculty of Communication at the Uskudar University regarding a double diploma program are in the final stages.

The Conference was attended by Suleyman Irvan, Dean of the Faculty of Communication at the Uskudar University, Vugar Aliyev, Dean of the Faculty of Journalism at BSU, and Rashad Mejid,   the Chairman of the Press Council of Azerbaijan.

The conference proceeded with sectional sessions.
