Baku State University, Ankara University sign protocol on academic cooperation

Baku State University (BSU) and Ankara University have signed an academic cooperation protocol envisaging collaboration in the fields of academic studies, culture, research and education.

The protocol was inked by BSU Rector Elchin Babayev and Ankara University Rector Necdet Ünüvar in Ankara, the capital city of Turkiye.

Addressing the signing ceremony, Rector Necdet Ünüvar highlighted the importance of the protocol, expressing his confidence that cooperation with BSU, the largest university of Azerbaijan, would be further developed in the future.

BSU Rector Elchin Babayev noted that the Baku State University maintains close cooperation with higher educational institutions of the brotherly country in the field of science and education. Babayev expressed his belief that cooperation with Ankara University, which is one of the oldest Turkish universities, would be beneficial for both higher education institutions. He also highlighted the prospects of implementing joint projects and academic and scientific cooperation in the future.

Under the document, the two universities will exchange academic stuff and students, hold joint seminars, conferences and workshops, as well as implement international scientific, educational projects and programmes.
