Baku State University, Ankara University to conduct joint archaeological research

Azerbaijan’s Baku State University (BSU) and Ankara University of Turkiye have signed an agreement on conducting joint archaeological research and expanding cooperation in the field of archeology.
The document was inked by BSU Rector Elchin Babayev and Ankara University Rector Necdet Ünüvar in Turkiye.
Under the agreement, working groups with the participation of academic staff and students from both universities will be formed in order to jointly carry out research activities. Molecular biologists, who will also include these groups, will conduct a large-scale genome analysis of the fossils found.
