“The SCOPUS Awards Azerbaijan award -2016” was handed over to academic Abel Maharramov, rector of Baku State University and Fikret Aliyev,  “Applied and computational mathematics" Journal.

The Scopus Awards are part of an Elsevier global initiative and efforts to support research and development in order to advance science across a broad range of disciplines. The Scopus Awards Azerbaijan 2016 aimed to showcase good practice in pursuing research to inspire and further motivate the Azerbaijani research community.
