Youth organization "Young Leaders" identified the winners in the category of "Friend of Youth" at the end of 2010. Nominations cover the following areas: services in education and research, cultural activities and arts, promoting the young people employment, instilling the patriotic spirit and national values, raising the intellectual level of young people, participation of young people in “education abroad” programs, protecting the environment.

Baku State University is in the list of winners. National Award "Friend of Youth" was awarded to the University for services to education and science.
