Ambassador of Azerbaijan to the Federative Republic of Brazil Elkhan Polukhov has visited Baku State University (BSU) to meet with rector Elchin Babayev. The meeting discussed the cooperation between BSU and universities in Brazil.
Ambassador Elkhan Polukhov informed rector about the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, is the largest federal university in Brasilia created in 1920.  According to the ambassador, the Center for Caucasus Studies has been established at this university.
Rector Elchin Babayev expressed an interest in cooperation with the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and its Center for Caucasus Studies.
A new cooperation agreement between Baku State University and the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, conducting the joint research projects, seminars and conferences were discussed at the meeting.
