Azerbaijan`s Baku State University (BSU) and Kazakh Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda State University have today signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

The MoU will see the two universities exchange teachers and students, hold seminars and conferences, as well as implement international scientific, educational projects and programmes.

Rector of the BSU Abel Maharramov highlighted the friendly relations between Azerbaijani and Kazakh people, and stressed the importance of cooperation between the universities and documents signed in education and science fields.

Rector of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda State University Kylyshbay Bissenov said he was interested in expanding relations between the universities, and noted that the MoU signed with the BSU would give an impetus to the development of cooperation between the two higher education institutions.
