Baku State University (BSU) has launched a new collaboration with Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan (Islamic Republic of Pakistan).

The two institutions have signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation. The document was signed by BSU Rector Elchin Babayev and Vice Chancellor of Abdul Wali Khan University, Jamil Ahmad.

The memorandum provides for the implementation of joint projects, including the organization of conferences, exhibitions, seminars, symposia, short-term courses, and training programs, as well as the conduct of joint research.

It also covers cooperation in joint publications in scientific journals, the development of academic programs, curricula, and syllabi, staff training, and the mutual exchange of faculty and administrative staff, undergraduate and postgraduate students, doctoral candidates, and researchers.
