A delegation from approximately 15 universities in Uzbekistan visited Baku State University (BSU).

During the meeting, BSU Rector Elchin Babayev highlighted the steadily growing relations between the brotherly nations of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. He emphasized that the two countries enjoy fruitful cooperation across political, economic, humanitarian, cultural, scientific, and educational domains—with BSU actively contributing to this partnership.
He also underlined the great potential for implementing joint degree programs, collaborative research projects, academic conferences, and social initiatives. “These efforts will not only enhance the higher education systems in both countries but also strengthen regional scientific capacity, raise educational standards, and pave the way for greater achievements in science and education,” concluded Rector Elchin Babayev.

Following the meeting, the Uzbek delegation toured BSU, familiarizing themselves with its faculties, as well as its educational and research activities. Discussions also focused on expanding future cooperation.
