The Intellectual Property Agency and Baku State University (BSU) signed an agreement on the establishment of a branch of the Department of Intellectual Property Law of BSU under the Intellectual Property Agency.
The agreement was signed by Kamran Imanov, Chairman of the Management Board of the Intellectual Property Agency, and Elchin Babayev, Rector of BSU on July 7, 2022.
The purpose of establishing a branch of the Department of Intellectual Property Law of BSU under the Intellectual Property Agency is to connect the teaching process with scientific experience at the University, to strengthen the integration of science and education with production, to form practical knowledge, skills and habits necessary for research and professional activity in students and graduates, intellectual property law application of scientific innovations and innovations in the field of science to the teaching process, involvement of leading experts in the relevant fields of specialization in the teaching process, conducting joint scientific research, creation and development of cooperation between the University and the Agency in the field of scientific research and personnel training.
