BSU Alumni Society Hosts Seminar on Artificial Intelligence
The sixth seminar of the Baku State University (BSU) Alumni Society was held with the participation of Samir Rustamov, a graduate of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics, faculty member at ADA University, and Doctor of Engineering Sciences.
Opening the event, Head of the BSU Alumni Society Garib Murshudov spoke about Samir Rustamov’s achievements in the field of artificial intelligence.
Delivering a seminar titled “Local Intelligence in the Era of Global AI: A New Look at Large Language Models (LLMs),” Samir Rustamov discussed the principles, opportunities, and challenges of LLM systems, as well as the importance of developing AI programs in the native language. He also highlighted the role of artificial intelligence education and addressed ethical and legal issues related to AI technologies.
The seminar concluded with a Q&A session with students.
