Baku State University (BSU) has launched a new series of seminars organized by the BSU Alumni Society. The first event featured BSU alumnus Uzeyir Suleymanov, founder and CEO of AZAI TECH, who delivered a seminar titled “From Artificial Intelligence to General Intelligence.”

Opening the event, BSU Rector Elchin Babayev emphasized that the university’s greatest asset is its students and graduates, noting that BSU is proud of its alumni, including national leader Heydar Aliyev. He highlighted that the Alumni Society aims to strengthen ties between graduates and the university and to inspire students through success stories and experience sharing.

Speaking at the seminar, Uzeyir Suleymanov discussed the evolution of artificial intelligence, its applications in Azerbaijan, and the ethical challenges it presents. He noted that while AI is a powerful tool, human intelligence remains unmatched: “The use of artificial intelligence is essential, but its outcomes must always be analyzed critically.”

He also advised students to focus on learning English and at least one programming language to prepare for the future.
