BSU and “AnewZ” Sign Cooperation Memorandum
A memorandum of understanding on cooperation was signed between Baku State University (BSU) and the international television channel AnewZ.
Speaking at the ceremony, BSU Rector Elchin Babayev emphasized the importance of cooperation with leading media organizations in training professional journalists. He noted that collaboration with “AnewZ” would contribute significantly to the preparation of English-speaking journalists.
Executive Director of “AnewZ” Rufat Hamzayev said the channel operates according to international journalism standards and is currently broadcast in more than 110 countries. He noted that more than 10 BSU students are already interning at the channel.
The sides also discussed future areas of cooperation envisaged in the memorandum. Following the meeting, the delegation visited the infrastructure and educational studios of BSU’s Faculty of Journalism.
