BSU and Anhui University Sign Agreement on Dual Degree Programs
Baku State University (BSU) and Anhui University, China, have signed an agreement to implement dual master’s degree programs in Optoelectronics, Semiconductor Devices and Technologies, and Microelectronics and Nanoelectronics.
The agreement aims to strengthen academic cooperation between the two institutions and expand international educational opportunities for students.
Under the dual degree programs, students will study at both Baku State University and Anhui University. The programs are designed to provide students with advanced theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the fields of optoelectronics, semiconductor devices and technologies, microelectronics, and nanoelectronics.
During the signing ceremony, the parties emphasized the importance of the agreement and highlighted the strategic significance of enhancing joint educational and research initiatives.
BSU Rector Elchin Babayev noted that the initiative will broaden opportunities for BSU students to gain international academic and research experience. Yu Baotao, Chairman of the University Council of Anhui University, stated that the program will contribute to the further development of cooperation between Chinese and Azerbaijani universities.
