A memorandum of understanding was signed between Baku State University (BSU) and the Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU), Malaysia, in Seoul, the capital of the Republic of Korea.

The document, signed by BSU Rector Elchin Babayev and APU Vice Chancellor Ho Chin Kuan outlines expanded cooperation between the two universities in research, education, innovation, digital transformation, and academic exchange. The partnership provides for joint research projects, student and faculty exchanges, the development of dual degree programs, and the organization of international seminars and conferences.

The parties also expressed interest in implementing joint initiatives in priority areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, engineering, and information technology.
