A memorandum of understanding was signed between Baku State University (BSU) and Astana International University (Kazakhstan).

The document was signed by BSU Rector Elchin Babayev and Astana International University Rector Serik Irsaliev.

The memorandum envisions cooperation in implementing joint projects, organizing conferences, exhibitions, seminars, symposia, and short-term courses, as well as conducting internships and research activities. It also includes provisions for joint publications in scientific journals, the development of academic programs, curricula, and syllabi, and the exchange of faculty members, administrative staff, students, master’s and doctoral candidates, and researchers.

Founded in 2024, Astana International University is among Kazakhstan’s prestigious higher education institutions.
