BSU and Azersun Holding LLC Discuss Career Development Opportunities

An online meeting was held between the staff of the Career and Alumni Center at Baku State University (BSU) and representatives of Azersun Holding LLC.

The meeting was attended by Vafa Rajabli, Chief Specialist of the Career and Alumni Center; Parvana Babayeva, Consultant; Vafa Asadova, Head of the Training and Development Department at Azersun Holding LLC; and Shahin Asadzade, Specialist of the Organizational Development and Career Department.

During the meeting, Parvana Babayeva presented the “Career Compass” project, noting that its main objective is to familiarize students with the current demands of the labor market, help them identify key professional skills, and provide opportunities for practical experience. The project, aimed at third- and fourth-year students, will cover four main areas: industry skills training, information sessions with employers, infotours, and internship orientation.

Vafa Asadova highlighted that Azersun Holding’s existing vacancies and internship programs would be particularly relevant for students of the Faculties of Chemistry, Ecology and Soil Science, and Biology. She emphasized that the company attaches great importance to supporting young professionals and actively develops internship opportunities through partnerships with universities.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the sides exchanged views and agreed to organize joint information tours and training sessions for BSU students and graduates.
