A Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation has been signed between Baku State University (BSU) and Batman University (Türkiye).

The document was signed by BSU Rector Elchin Babayev and Rector of Batman University, Idris Demir.

The memorandum envisages the implementation of joint projects, including the organization of conferences, exhibitions, seminars, symposia, courses, and training programs, as well as the conduct of joint scientific research.

The agreement also covers cooperation in joint publications in scientific journals, the development of joint academic programs, curricula as well as the exchange of academic and administrative staff, undergraduate and graduate students, doctoral candidates, and researchers.

Founded in 2007, Batman University is one of the prestigious higher education institutions in Türkiye.
