BSU and Eurasian Regional Center of ICYF sign MoU
Baku State University (BSU) and the Eurasian Regional Center of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF-ERC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation.
The Memorandum was signed by Elchin Babayev, Rector of BSU, and Elchin Asgarov, Chairman of the Board of the ICYF Eurasian Regional Center.
During the signing ceremony, participants discussed Azerbaijan’s youth and education policies, the protection of national and moral values, and the role of BSU in these areas. They also highlighted the initiatives of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), as well as ICYF and its Eurasian Regional Center in Baku, which operates with diplomatic status as an international organization and implements youth development projects.
Chairman Elchin Asgarov thanked Rector Elchin Babayev for BSU’s continued support of these initiatives and noted that the university’s students have stood out for their talent and performance at international Model OIC summits held in various countries, often reaching the finals.
The two sides also discussed potential joint projects and initiatives at the local, regional, and international levels. They also exchanged views on the activities to be implemented under the Memorandum.
